Meet Dr. Emily Wolbers
A Doctor Who Listens
I am a different kind of doctor. I'm the type of doctor that wants to hear your story and discover the root cause of your health challenges.
I earned my medical degree from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon and have my Bachelor degree in dietetics from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. With my background in nutrition, I utilize Food as Medicine as a main modality for health. I treat the whole person and find the root cause of disease through natural, non-invasive means.
I am originally from Moline, Illinois and fell in love with Portland during medical school. I am thrilled to be working with both the Quad City and greater Portland community. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, exercising, teaching yoga, and volunteering for Living Yoga and Portland Parks and Recreation.
My Primary Areas of Focus:
Chronic Disease - such as Diabetes, High Blood Pressure
Insomnia, and Stress
Digestive Disorders - including Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn's Disease
SIBO, IBS, and chronic abdominal pain
Autoimmune Disorders - such as Rheumatoid Arthritis
Hashimoto's, and Celiac Disease
Endocrine Disorders - including Adrenal and Thyroid dysfunction
