Best Egg Substitutes

As you all know, I don't eat eggs, but I do have a mega sweet tooth, and I've loved baking during this quarantine!


For all my egg-free folx out there, here is the verdict on the best egg substitutes.


For flat baked goods, like cookies and pancakes, I recommend the flax egg or chia egg.

1 Tbs ground flax/1 Tbs chia seed + 3 Tbs water = 1 egg. Let it sit for a 3-5 minutes and viola!



For more voluminous treats, like brownies, try apple sauce or Greek yogurt.

1/4 apple sauce/1/4 cup Greek yogurt = 1 egg. The result is gooey deliciousness!



For cakes, I hands down recommend carbonated water! #mindblown🤯

1/4 carbonated water = 1 egg
