Meet a Different Kind of Doctor
First, let me warn you that I am a nerd, and I love food. My journey to become a doctor started with a passion for all things food-related and a degree in dietetics. I loved learning about digestion, metabolism, biochemistry, and how the body responds to food. I ate it up!
I later learned that nearly 90% of chronic diseases are related to diet and lifestyle, and I thought, 'I have to help prevent this. I have to become a doctor.' My practices focuses on gastrointestinal health through the power of nutrition and Food as Medicine.
